Looking to immerse in Yoga in a beautiful place but only have a few days? Our sister yoga community, Pranamaya, is offering short weekly yoga retreats every Mon-Wed throughout March-May (as well as classes and workshops in Kathmandu).

Each week a different guest teacher provides a different theme for the three days (Mahalaya’s Annie will be teaching a retreat themed around developing a self-practice, including an introduction to the anatomy we use in yoga, April 25-27). The retreats are open to students of all levels, and with small group sizes the events are tailored to the participants for a truly special way to experience your practice.

Enjoy morning and afternoon sessions of yoga, explore yoga theory and philosophy, revive with wonderful food, relax with a favourite book and new friends among the beautiful grounds, find peace with a guided evening meditation, and take a teaching from the monastery’s highest teacher.

With deliciously pure air, peaceful lush surroundings, the warm company of like-minded fellow students, and top international teachers, we highly recommend these retreats for anyone looking for a shorter chance to immerse in yoga, to rejuvenate and strengthen the body, and to unwind and refresh the mind.
